KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Club ended Tribhuvan Army Club's fourmatch unbeaten run in the seventh Prime Minister Cup NVA National Club League here at the NSC covered hall on Thursday.
NPC defeated TAC in straight sets of 25-21, 28-26, 25-14 and moved to second in the seven-team table with 12 points.
TAC dropped to third with 11 points. Tip- Top Help Nepal defeated Nepal APF Club 3-2 for their fifth straight victory and climbed to the top with 13 points. Help Nepal defeated APF 27- 25, 25-17, 21-25, 23-25, 16-14. APF are fourth with 11 points. In women's section, APF and TAC recorded victories.
APF outplayed Everest Volleyball Club 25-12, 25-19, 25-19, while APF beat Hongwanji New Diamond 25- 19, 25-18, 25-12.
NPAC have already advanced to the final with 12 points, while APF are second on 11 and New Diamond are third on eight.
TAC (five), Gandaki Province (three) and Everest (zero) have already out of the final race.
