NEW DELHI: England defeated New Zealand by seven wickets Wednesday in the first semi-final match at ICC Twenty20 2016 Cricket World Cup.
England 159-3 in 17.1 overs (Jason Roy 78, Jos Buttler 32 not out, Joe Root 27 not out; Ish Sodhi 2-42) defeated New Zealand 153-8 (Colin Munro 46, Kane Williamson 32, Corey Anderson 28; Ben Stokes 3-26).
