Pradeep Khadka, Subrat Basnet, Mahesh Shrestha and Santosh Khatri registered victories in the men’s singles matches of the second Lalitpur Districtwide National Open Tennis Tournament at the International Sports Complex courts today.

Khadka defeated Bijay Shrestha 6-4, 6-1, Banet saw off Mukti Sen Gurung 6-3, 7-5, Shrestha beat Roshan KC 6-1, 6-0 and Khatri outplayed Jayjeev Hada 6-1, 6-0.

Similarly, Kamal Bhandari registered a 6-1, 6-0 win against Aadit Subedi, Shreeram Magar defeated Man Bahadur Katuwal 6-1, 6-1, Gaurav Pratap Shahi saw off Abhinav Acharya 6-0, 6-0 and Pranav Khanal recorded a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Semante Gurung.

In women’s singles, Ganga Maharjan outplayed Bijisha Shrestha 6-3, 6-4, Prerana Koirala beat Bhagawati BK 6-3, 6-1, Mayanka Rana thrashed Subhangi Laxmi Shah 6-0, 6-1 and Mahika Rana defeated Saloni Tamang 6-1, 6-4.

In men’s doubles, the pair of Pradeep Khadka and Raj Lama beat the duo of Aarav Hada and Aryan Giri 6-1, 6-3, while Bijay Shrestha and Chhewan Lama registered a 7-6, 6-4 against the pair Mukti Gurung and Subrat Basnet. The pair of Sunit Giri and Jayjeev Hada beat Gauri Shankar Shrestha and Rajesh Chhetri 6-2, 6-3.
