KATHMANDU: Prime College recorded a 51-46 win over hosts Xavier ‘A’ in the boys’ section match of the fourth Xavier International Inter-college U-19 Basketball Tournament here on Wednesday. In the inaugural match, Prime won the encounter in extra time after the both the teams were deadlocked at 39-all in four quarters. Likewise, Reliance saw off Xavier ‘B’ 37-31 and Himalayan beat Gyan Niketan 61-26 in other matches. In the girls’ category, hosts Xavier defeated NCCS 43-18, while Saipal beat Prime 37-16.
