KATHMANDU: Prime College won the title of the Prime Cup Inter-college Table Tennis Championship here on Sunday. Prime won seven gold, four silver and two bronze medals to claim the team championship, while Morgan International finished second with two silver and as many bronze medals. In men’s singles, Syantu Shrestha won gold medal defeating his Prime teammate Nihal Shrestha of Prime 11-6, 11-4, 11-8, 11-9. In men’s team event final, Prime defeated Capital College and Research Centre 3-1. In mixed doubles, Prime duo Nihal Shrestha and Erika Maharjan defeated Binesh Khaniya and Elina Maharjan, while Syantu Shrestha and Nihal Shrestha won men’s doubles gold.
