KATHMANDU: Prime and Xavier International advanced to the final of the 13th Prime Cup Inter-college Basketball Tournament here on Thursday. The hosts Prime College defeated Liverpool riding on Nischal Maharjan’s 26 points, while Abhay Kunwar’s 15 points helped Xavier register a 48-33 win over CCRC. In women’s section, Xavier and Golden Gate made it to the final. Xavier edged past Valley Public 38-32, while Bina Nakarmi’s 12 points guided Golden Gate to a 33-23 victory over NASA.
