Province No 3 and the combined team of Province 4 and Province 1 recorded victories in the first Inter-Province Blind Women’s Cricket Tournament here at the Institute of Engineering grounds today.

Province No 3, who defeated team of Province 4 and 1 by seven wickets on Monday, beat Province No 5 by 44 runs. In another match, the team of Province 4 and 1 outplayed Province No 7 by six wickets.

In the first match, Province No 3 scored 175-5 in their allotted 20 overs after they were invited to take the first strike. In reply, Province No 5 were all out for 131 runs in 18.3 overs.

Ayushma Chhetri scored 37 runs, Mankeshi Chaudhary added 33 runs and Sunita Ghimire contributed 31 runs for Province No 3. Bhuma Kharel claimed two wickets, while Maya Lyangali and Menuka BC took one wicket apiece for Province No 5.

Sita Darnal scored 21 runs and Gita Paudel added 19 runs for Province No 5. Ayushma Chhetri claimed three wickets and Sunita Nepali took two wickets for Province No 3. Ayushma Chhetri of Province No 3 was named the player-of-the-match.

In another match, Province No 7 scored 131-9 after opting to bat first before team of Province No 4 and 1 raced to 135-4 in 13.2 overs.

Ashika Chaudhary scored top scored for Province No 7 with 42 runs and Pramila Chaudhary contributed 16 runs. Rashmi Gurung and Bimala Rai claimed one wicket each for Team of Province No 4 and 1. In reply, Muna Aryal scored 36 runs for the team of Province No 4 and 1, while player-of-the-match Bhagwati Amgai scored 35 runs.
