Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) missed a chance to move atop after playing a goalless draw against Shree Kumari Club in the Martyrs Memorial B Division Football League here at the Nepal APF grounds today.

RCT remained unmoved at third position on inferior goal difference after they were tied with second-placed Chyasal Youth Club on nine points. Shree Kumari are fourth in the standing with eight points.

In another match at the same venue, Pulchwok Sports Club played a 1-1 draw against Divine Boys Union Club to move to the fifth position.

Sushil Rai put Boys Union ahead in the seventh minute, while Rumesh Bartaula levelled the scores two minutes later. Pulchowk accumulated seven points from five matches. Madhyapur Youth Association (sixth), Tushal Youth Club (seventh) and Bansbari Club (eighth) also have seven points.

At the ANFA Complex grounds in Lalitpur, Bansbari Club came from three goals down to share points with Madhyapur as they settled for a 3-3 draw.

Madhyapur took lead within a minute through Sabin Dangol’s goal and Nishan Basnet doubled the lead in the fourth minute. Anish Shrestha made it 3-0 in the 16th minute.

However, Bansbari’s Arik Bista netted in the 26th minute to cut the deficit and Om Bikram Ghale added another in the 59th minute. Bansbari made a great comeback when Bista scored his second goal in the 87th minute to snatch a point from Madhyapur.
