Bishwanath Rayamajhi of Peoples Peace School emerged victor in the boys’ category of the inter-school 5000-metre race organised jointly by Fair Educational Competition Association (FECA) and Pritima English Secondary School here on Friday. Dilip Thapa of New Star Pole School stood second while Niranjan Pokhrel of Pritima English Secondary School came third.

In girls’ category, Sapana Dhungana of Pritima English Secondary School came first, while Binita Thapa and Srijana Bista of New Star Pole School stood second and third respectively.

In all, 90 students from 20 schools of the district participated in the race. President of FECA Bhupati Khadka gave away prizes to the winners in a function organised after the race.
