Bulbule Rara Club came from a set down to stun Tribhuvan Army Club 3-1 in the men's section match of the RBB-NVA Club League Volleyball Championship here at the NSC covered hall on Friday.
After losing the first set 20-25, Bulbule Rara bounced back strongly to win the next three consecutive sets - 25-21, 25-19, 25-23 - to register their first victory.
In other matches, Help Nepal beat Naya Bazaar Club 25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16 for a 3-1 victory, while Nepal APF Club recorded their second straight win defeating Mani Mukunda Club 25-19, 25-22, 25-20.
In women's section, TAC beat New Diamond Sports Club 21-17, 20- 25, 25-23, 15-25, 15-12 in five-set thriller, while APF and Nepal Police Club registered victories in straight sets.
APF routed Dhorpatan 25-3, 25- 9, 25-5, while NPC hammered Bharatpur 25-4, 25-8, 25-12. A total of 13 teams are taking part in the tournament.
