PANCHTHAR: Red Horse of Ilam defeated DFC Morang 2-1 and advanced to the semi-finals of the second Wai Wai Falgunanda Gold Cup Football Tournament on Monday.

Manish Thapa and Subash Rai scored a goal each for Red Horse, while Birendra Limbu pulled one back for DFC.

Thapa put Red Horse ahead in the 16th minute before Limbu levelled the tally for DFC in the 18th minute.

Rai restored the lead for Red Horse in the 38th minute.
