NAWALPARASI: Nandabhauju Madhyavarti Upabhokta Samiti of Kolhuwa is organising the Rhino Conservation Gold Cup Football Tournament from October 27.

The  tournament, which is being organised with the aim of raising awareness  through sports, will feature A division clubs, informed President Doman Bahadur Bhandari at a press meet on Friday.  According to the organisers, All Nepal Football Association will decide the participating teams.

The winners of the tournament will get Rs 525,555. The estimated budget for the tournament is Rs 6.5 million.

Awareness programmes to save rhinos and other wildlife animals will also be organised during the annual event which began 14  years ago.
