Chand set to play against Espanyol
Nepal international Rohit Chand is set to play against Spanish La Liga club Espanyol on Wednesday.
Chand got the opportunity as his Indonesian club Persija Jakarta are scheduled to play a friendly match against four-time La Liga Champions Espanyol, informed Chand’s brother Rabin today.
Espanyol will be travelling to Indonesia along with former Real Madrid and AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez as well as Rober Correa, Victor Sanchez and Gerrard Moreno.
Chand signed a 10-month contract with Persija Jakarta in April and will be with the club till January next year. Chand has already played against former Dutch and European Champions AFC Ajax previously.
