Thapa claimed the semi-finals match in straight sets with a 6-3, 6-1 scoreline against India's Aditya Karnani on Monday.

Earlier on Sunday, Thapa beat another Indian player Arun Agrawal 6-1, 6-0 in the quarter-final, paving his way to the semis. The final game is scheduled to be held on October 3.
