KATHMANDU: Nepal are pitted in group A along with India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka for the SAFF Suzuki Cup as per the draw held in New Delhi on Wednesday. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Bhutan are in Group B for the tournament slated for December 23 to January 3.

Afghanistan are the defending champion of the previous edition held in Kathmandu in 2013. Nepal will begin their SAFF Suzuki Cup campaign against Sri Lanka in Kerala, India on December 23. Nepal will then meet Pakistan on December 25 and play the last league match against hosts India on December 27.
