Kathmandu, July 27:

National Sports Council formed All Nepal School Sports Association (ANSSA) under the presidentship of Rajesh Khadka, principal of GEMS, today. NSC member secretary Kishor Bahadur Singh handed over the certificates to the members.

Umesh Shrestha, Nima Lama, Babu Ram Pokharel, Bhoj Bahadur Shah and BN Sharma are the vice presidents while Deep Raj Gurung is the general secretary and Pramila Singh the treasurer. Karna Bahadur Shahi and Paras Shrestha are the secretaries of the newly formed association. Other members are Fr Lawrence, Narayan Sharma, Indira Yakthumba, Murari Tiwari, Rupak Rajbanshi, Gopal Krishna Shrestha, Ritu Raj Sapkota, TL Chaudhari, Suchita Manandhar, Yash-odhara Panta, Binita Pradhan, Pradip Dewan and a NSC representative.

President Khadka said that the association would organise a mega event in January next year.
