Selection tourney resumes today

Kathmandu, June 22:

The selection tournament for the Coca Cola Inter-school National Football Tournament, which has been organised by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), will resume here from Monday after a two-day break.

The three matches slated for Saturday were postponed because of the transport strike called by the Bagmati Zonal Committee of the Federation of Nepali National Transport Entrepreneurs (FNNTE), said ANFA official on Sunday. No matches were possible on Sunday, the rest day in the fixtures, as the strike continued.

On Monday, Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute will play against Mahendra Bouddha High School, while Shahid Dharma Bhakta School are up against Rhododendron International Boarding School (RIBS). The other match pits Gothatar English Boarding School and Siddhi Ganesh High School at the Sano Gaucharan grounds.
