TIME OUT
KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has postponed the friendly One-Day and Twenty20 series between Nepal national women's team and Uttarakhanda women's cricket team of India.
"The series between Nepal national women's team and Uttarakhanda team, which was scheduled to begin in the third week of April, has been postponed for now due to the unavailability of the visiting team," said CAN in a release.
According to CAN, the visiting side could not acquire permission to travel to Kathmandu from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCC) and the state government due to the rise of coronavirus cases. CAN had earlier this month appointed Jagat Tamatta as the national women's team head coach to prepare for the series.
