Himal Shah of Surya Nepal defeated Kishor Bhattarai of New Business Age 7-6, 7-6

in the lawn tennis tournament final at the first National Corporate Sports Tournament here today.

Bhattarai and Srikantha Dhungana of Surya Nepal entered the men’s singles badminton final. Bhattarai avenged his tennis defeat to Shah in the semi-finals, while Dhungana dispatched Prabhat Khatri of DHL in other semi-final.

Stuti Maskey of APCA Nepal and Twinkle Khetan of Laxmi Bank advanced to the women’s singles badminton. Maskey beat Ishwori Pradhan of New Business Age, while Khetan outplayed Bandana Sharma of APCA Nepal in the semi-finals.

Himal and Srikantha of Surya Nepal made it to the men’s doubles final in badminton beating Purna Singh Khatri and Krishna Pokhrel. The duo will face Srijan Malla and Santosh Jonachhe of Nabil Bank, who defeated Citizen Bank’s Rajan Singh Bhandari and Binay Rauniyar.
