Shaila Rana became the overall champion earning 16.65 points at the Birthday Cup Open Women’s and Men’s Gymnastic Competition organised by Nepal Gymnastic Association to mark the 59th birthday of King Gyanendra. Shrijana Prajapati (15.70) and Yunisa Jadhari (13.35) came second and third.

Shaila won other three titles in the event. With 7.95 points, Shaila beat Shrijana (7.77) and Shelly Gurung (7.35) in Vault Table. Shaila (8.70) beat Yunisa (8.60) in Floor Mat event. She had 8.75 points to beat Bikram Kapali (7.75) in Mushroom event.

In boys’ section, Bikram Kapali was named the all-rounder with 22.75 points. Other winners were: Sudeen Ranjitkar (Vault Table); Bikram Kapali (Horizontal Bar); and Nirajan (Floor Mat). Shree Prasad Koju, who won three titles, was the overall champion in senior boys’ section. He won Horizo-ntal Bar, Roman Rings and Floor Mat.
