KATHMANDU: Youth and Sports Minister Rajendra KC on Sunday appointed Shailesh Karmacharya as the Treasurer of the National Sports Council.

The position was vacant after Surendra Hamal resigned to contest in the provincial elections from Banke.

Karmacharya was nominated as the NSC Board Member two years ago.
