KATHMANDU: Shreejay Acharya won the title of the fourth edition of Ruslan Monthly Medal Golf Tournament here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Saturday.

The 10-handicap amateur Acharya scored three-under 65 nett to claim the trophy.

Nava Raj Thapa came second with the score of even-par 68, while Yogendra K Rai came third on count back after he was tied on 70 with Prakash Ban. Phuntsok N Lama won the gross section title with the score of three-over 71.

A total of 25 golfers took part in the tournament organised by RNGC under the sponsorship of Vijay Distillery.

The event was played under stroke play full handicap format with a maximum of 18.

Jawalakhel Group of Companies Director Shrihar SJB Rana, who is also the Vice-captain at RNGC, handed over the prizes to the winners.
