Nepal Police Club’s Shyantu Shrestha and Elina Maharjan won gold medals in the Samjhana Cup Open Table Tennis Tournament here at National Table Tennis Training Centre on Sunday.

In the men’s singles final, Shrestha, who bagged gold in junior category on Saturday, beat Chandan Shahi of Nepal APF Club 11-6, 11-7, 11-7, 8-11, 11-3.

In the women’s final, Maharjan saw off Rabina Maharjan of Tribhuvan Army Club 11-3, 23-21, 9-11, 11-7, 11-7. Kathmandu’s Naresh Rawal claimed gold in above-40 veteran and Panna Kaji Shakya won above-50 veteran singles title.
