TANAHUN: Siddhagufa Yuva Club won the title of the District wide Seven-a-side Football Tournament here on Wednesday.

Siddhagufa defeated hosts Kahun Milan Yuva Club 3-1 in tie-breaker after a 2-2 draw. Bippal Shrestha and Sandip Rana Magar scored for Siddhagufa, while Sunil Thapa and Anil Saru netted for Kahun in regulation period.

Siddhagufa received Rs 111,111 and Kahun pocketed Rs 55,555. Hikman Dura of Galaxy Yuva Club was declared the best player of the tournament and received Rs 3,000, while Sandip Rana Magar of Kahun was the highest scorer and earned Rs 5,000.

A total of 24 teams took part in the tournament. CDO Mahadev Pantha and Secretary of Kahun VDC Ram Chandra Pandit handed over the prizes to the winners.
