Sinclair, Butler lose contracts

Fast bowler Ian Butler and batsman Mathew Sinclair have been dropped from New Zealand cricket contracts, New Zealand Cricket said.
New Zealand Cricket offers contracts to the top 20 players in the country, indicating those players considered most likely to make up Test and one-day teams in the year starting from June. Opening batsman Craig Cumming and James Marshall were both offered contracts in place of Butler and Sinclair.
Contracted players: Nathan Astle, Shane Bond, Chris Cairns, Craig Cu-mming, Stephen Fleming, James Fr-anklin, Chris Harris, Brendon McCullum, Craig McMillan, Hamish Mars-hall, James Marshall, Chris Martin, Kyle Mills, Jacob Oram, Michael Pa-pps, Scott Styris, Daryl Tuffey, Lou Vi-ncent, Daniel Vettori, Paul Wiseman.
