LALITPUR: Budhanilkantha and Sahid Dharma Bhakta School advanced to the final of the boys’ football tournament under the SML Isuzu 25th Gyan Carnival here on Tuesday.

Manjil Gautam scored four goals alone and Nirmal Ghale added one as Budhanilkantha thrashed hosts Gyanodaya 5-2. Sapan Maharjan and Dion Gauchan scored one goal each for Gyanodaya. In another semi-final match, Sahid Dharma Bhakta beat Srikul School 2-1.

Ram Sharan Bhujel scored a brace for the winners, while Birendra Raut netted one for Srikul. Oasia and Pushpasadan have already earned berths in mini basketball final. The finals are on Wednesday.
