KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal on Monday announced the 18-member squad for the Nepal T20I Triangular Series to be held here from October 18-27.

Nepal will compete against the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong in the T20 International series at home ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers. Rohit Paudel will lead the team, which includes Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Dipendra Airee, Sundeep J ora, Gulsan Jha, Sompal Kami, Karan KC and Pratis GC.

Likewise, Lalit Rajbanshi, Avinash Bohara, Bibek Yadav, Sagar Dhakal, wicketkeeper Binod Bhandari, Lokesh Bam, Surya Tamang and Shyam Dhakal are the other members in the team. Sandeep Lamichhane pulled out of the event citing personal reasons. Nepal will open the campaign with a match against the UAE on Wednesday, while the home team will face Hong Kong on October 19 and October 21.

Nepal will then take on the UAE on October 23. Hong Kong and the UAE will play against each other on October 22 and October 25.

Top two teams after the double round robin league will advance to the final slated for October 27 at the TU Stadium. All six league round matches will be played at the Mulpani International Cricket Ground.
