Strike hits archers

KATHMANDU: The archers leaving for the one-month training in Incheon were severely affected by the three-day general strike called on by the Unified CPN Maoists. Cautious not to miss the flight the three archers showed up at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 3:00am on Monday. They had a boarding scheduled for 4:00pm. “The protesters were not allowing any vehicle run so we decided to come here early even before the bandh supporters showed up,” lamented one of the archers.
