KATHMANDU: Nepal Swimming Association is organising the eighth Pramod Memorial Age Group and Open Swimming Championship at the International Sports Complex pool on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The tournament will also serve as the selection event for the 17th FINA World Championships to be held in Budapest, Hungary from July 14-30. According to the NSA, two each men and women swimmers will be picked up for the championships based on the FINA points.

A total of 257 swimmers — 156 men and 101 women — will take part in the event.
