KATHMANDU: Kathmandu District Table Tennis Association is organising the ninth Purnaman Bajracharya Memorial National Open Table Tennis Tournament here from August 1.

The tournament, which is being held under the auspices of Nepal Table Tennis Association, features 27 events including eight in school category, four each in college and veteran sections, two apiece in open and media and seven for differently-able athletes.

The top three players in men and women singles categories will receive Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively, informed

KDTTA President Dharmaman Bajracharya.

“We are organising the tournament with the theme of Table Tennis for All and we have also included events for para-athletes,” Bajracharya added.
