KATHMANDU: Executive Committee Member of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum and sports journalist at Rajdhani daily, Dil Tamang was bereaved of his father Suka Bahadur Tamang, who passed away early Tuesday morning at his residence in Lamjung district.

The 60-year-old Tamang — who served in Indian Army — had been suffering from liver cancer for the last one year, his family said.

He breathed his last at 2:30am on Tuesday at his residence. He was cremated on Tuesday in Lamjung. Tamang was survived by wife, three sons and a daughter.
