Team to go to Tokyo

KATHMANDU: Three Nepali female swimmers are on Tuesday leaving for Japan to take part in the 10th Asian Swimming Championships slated for November 17-22 in Tokyo.

Tisha Shakya will compete in 50m butterfly as well as 50m and 100m freestyle events, while Akshara Singh will swim in 50m and 100m breaststroke events.

Likewise, Ayshma Tuladhar will take part in 50m breaststroke, 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle events.

Nepal Swimming Association Vice-president Mahesh Maharjan (team leader), Member Sagar Shakya (team manager) and Shanti Sthapit (official) will accompany the swimmers to Japan.
