LALITPUR: A six-member Nepali team on Wednesday left for Lebanon to take part in the 25th Asian Alpine Ski Championship for Children slated for March 3-7 at the Mazaar Ski Resort. Sajani Lama, Gauri Maya Tamang, Tshering Tenzing Sherpa and Nivranshu Shahi will take part in the championship organised for the children born between 2000 and 2003, informed Nepal Ski Association at a farewell programme. Coach Sher Bahadur Gurung and team manager Laxmi Shahi accompanied the players to Lebanon. President of Nepal Ski Association Jeevan Ram Shrestha, who is also the president of Nepal Olympic Committee, bade farewell to the team.
