Team to go to India

KATHMANDU: The team of Cricket Association of Blind (CAB), Nepal is on Wednesday leaving for India to participate in the first Twenty20 Blind Asian Cup Cricket Tournament to be held in Kochi. The tournament is slated for January 17-24 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Cricket Stadium. Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are competing in the tournament. Nepal will take on Pakistan on January 18 before facing hosts India the next day. Nepal will then face Sri Lanka on January 20 and wrap up the league campaign with a match against Bangladesh on January 21. Nepal had participated in Blind T20 World Cup in Bangalore in 2012 but did not take part in 2014 edition due to financial constraint.
