Tendulkar not to open today

Nagpur: Sachin Tendulkar will bat in the middle order in the first one-dayer against the West Indies here on Sunday as India attempt to find a winning combination ahead of the World Cup. “The middle overs in the World Cup will be crucial and who is better to play that role for us than Tendulkar. India, who won just two of their last 10 one-dayers, are struggling to return to winning ways ahead of the World Cup, to be held in the West Indies in March and April. They play four matches against the West Indies and then as many against Sri Lanka at home next month.
