KATHMANDU: Ranadeep Thapa won the title of the Chivas Golf Tournament at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Saturday.

Played under stableford 3/4 handicap format, Thapa accumulated 42 points. Maj Gen Mahesh Bikram Karki came second with 38 points. Mithun Rai claimed the gross section trophy with 36 points. Gita Gurung won the women's section trophy with 36 points, while Samjhana Khatri was runner-up with 35 points. Kishwor Basnet was winner among guests. Maj Gen Om Puri won the straightest drive award, while Capt Norbu Sherpa bagged the longest drove trophy.

Hridesh Kumar Singh won the most birdies award, whereas Prakash Ban claimed closest-to-thepin award. RNGC President Madhukar Yakthumba, past presidents Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha and Rabindra Man Shrestha, NGA President Tashi Ghale, RNGC Captain Mithun Rai, Lady Captain Arshiya Banu and Pernod Ricard County Manager Ravinder Saini handed over the prizes to the winners.
