The British College, NRA ink agreement

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rugby Association (NRA) and The British College signed an agreement for the development of the sport here on Wednesday.

President of NRA Tanka Lal Ghising and CEO of The British College Rajan Kandel exchanged Memorandum of Understanding at a programme. Former Member Secretary of the National Sports Council Sakuntala Nagarkoti was also present on the occasion.

According to the agreement, the college would provide the NRA with necessary assistance for the development of the game. In return, the association will organise Inter-college Rugby Championship within a year. The NRA will also use the logo of The British College in players’ kits in national and international tournaments.

Meanwhile, Nagarkoti inaugurated the one-month-long festival in a run-up to the Rugby World Cup 2015, slated for the United Kingdom. President of the Association Ghising informed the NRA would organise mass rally, bike rally and a friendly match between The British College and the association.
