KATHMANDU: The North Face Adventure Team on Wednesday signed Nepali ultra athlete Arjun Rai Kulung.
Kulung, who hails from Solukhumbu region, became the first Nepali male athlete in the Adventure Team of The North Face.
He joined fellow Nepali ultrarunner Sunmaya Budha in the team and Kulung is preparing for international events later this year.
"Following in the footsteps of Asia's top ultrarunner Sunmaya Budha, Kulung has now joined the team and is already receiving support and coaching as he prepares for several upcoming international events in 2023," said The North Face in a release.
Both Budha and Kulung will represent The North Face Adventure Team at the Mountain and Trail World Championships to be held in just one month in Innsbruck, Austria.
