National league champions Three Star Club (TSC) entered the final of the seventh Budha Subba Tuborg Gold Cup Football Tounament beating defending champions Manang Marsyangdi Club (MMC) 4-1 in tie-breaker here today.

The match went into tie-breaker after both teams failed to score in the normal and the added 30-minute time.

Niranjan Khadka, Santosh Sahukhala, Parlay Rajbhandari and Santosh Shrestha converted the spot kicks for Three Star. Nabin Neupane was the only MMC player to score in the tie-breaker. Man of the match Three Star custodian Upendra Man Singh saved Kumar Thapa’s shot, while Sunil Subedi hit the post.

Three Star Club, who are playing in the tournament for the first time, will face the winner of the Friday’s other semi-final winner between three-time champions Mahendra Police Club and Jawalakhel Youth Club. MPC beat Sahara Club of Pokhara 1-0 whereas JYC defeated Morang XI 2-0 to advance to the semi-finals.
