KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal today named the Under-15 squad that will take part in the U-15 Asia Cup to be held in UAE from April 11-22. Sashi Keshari will lead the side. Others in the 14-member squad include Gyanendra Malla (vice captain), Anil Mandal, Antim Thapa, Sagar Khadka, Rom Shrestha, Dipen Shrestha (Wk), Amrit Pokhrel, Angel Acharya, Sharad Pokhrel, Amrit Bhattarai, Chandra Saud, Subash Jaiswal and Lal Bahadur Adhikari.— HNS

KANCHANPUR: Rishi Rai scored a double hat-trick and skipper Milan Shrestha netted four goals as Dharan thrashed Baglung 12-0 in the Birendra Memorial Inter-municipality (Central-level) Football Tournament here today. In other match, 10-men Bhaktapur beat Pokhara 4-3 on penalties, after both the teams were deadlocked at 1-1. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Bijay Pun of North Point Academy accumulated 6.5 points from seven matches to win the District-wide Inter-school Chess Tournament organised by Annapurna School here today.
