MMC beat Tarun Sangh

Jibesh Pandey, Kumar Thapa and Rajendra Tamang scored a goal each as Manang Marsyangdi Club (MMC) came from behind to beat Tarun Sangh of Kolkata 3-1 in the final of the second Hridayendra Gold Cup Football Tournament here today. Ratan Das had put Tarun Sangh ahead in the first minute. MMC bagged Rs 50,000 and the runners-up got Rs 25,000. Jibesh Pandey was the highest scorer with four goals and Sunil Subedi was named the best player of the tournament. ANFA president Ganesh Thapa gave away prizes to the winners. — HNS
