Surendra, Anju win

LALITPUR: Surendra Kapali of Adarsha School won the boys’ 8,000m race at the sixth Shuva Eicheer Inter-school Cross Country Race. Surendra finished the race in 30 minutes and six seconds. Likewise, Anju Musyakhabo won the girls’ 5,000m race with the timing of 17 minutes and 20 seconds. In all, 445 children took part in the event organized by Shuvatara International School. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Nikesh Duwal of Prabhat School leads the standings with four points after the fourth round of the School-level International Open Chess Tournament in Dhaka on Saturday.
