KATHMANDU: The Springwood One-day National Cricket Tournament is scheduled for March 28 to April 6 at the TU Stadium. In all, six regional teams will vie for the championship organised by Cricket Association of Nepal and sponsored by Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd. Meanwhile, Region No 3 (Kathmandu) is organising the regional tournament from March 22-27 at TU Stadium. Four districts teams — Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Nuwakot — along with a team from Tribhuvan University (TU) will compete in the tournament. — HNS

CAN umpires depart

KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) umpires Sanjay Gurung and Adhip Pradhan on Thursday left for Kuala Lumpur to take part in the ACC Level-II Umpiring and Scoring Course. The training, held under the Asian Cricket Council programme, is scheduled for March 21 to 26. — HNS
