Anderson gets permit
LONDON: Brazil midfielder Anderson is likely to complete his transfer to Manchester United after he was given a British work permit. Anderson is set to join from FC Porto for about $34.1 million. His initial application for a permit was rejected because of a lack of international experience but Anderson made his Brazil debut this week. “We look forward to finalizing his transfer in the very near future,” United said on Friday. — AP
