GORKHA: United Club of Thalajung defeated Dudhpokhari of Lamjung 5-4 on penalties in the final of the Inter-club Football Tournament, organised by The Manaslu Youth Club under the auspices of Gorkha Football Association. Ultimatum for ANFA
KATHMANDU: The newly formed National Republican Football Association (NRFA) and United Struggle Committee (USC) issued an 72-hour ultimatum to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) officials to step down. “We demand the resignation of all the ANFA officials by 4pm on May 17,” said Mathura Ram Shrestha, convenor of the USC, and Shiva Khadka, president of NRFA, in a jointly issued release. “If they do not resign within the given period of time, we will padlock the office of ANFA,” the release added. — HNS
