KATHMANDU: Himalayan White House beat Kathmandudes 61-46 in the final to lift the third Fr Watrin Men’s Basketball Tournament here today. Anil Maharjan scored maximun 18 points for the winners. JC Hollander of Kathmandudes was declared most valuable player of the tournament. National Sports Council member secretary Jeevan Ram Shrestha gave away the prizes.
Baluwatar win again :
KATHMANDU: Baluwatar Cricket Academy (BCA) won the second match in a row beating Twenty Twenty Cricket Federation of India by seven runs in the friendly series. Batting first, BCA scored 106-7 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, the visitors managed 99-6. Sarav Preet Singh top-scored with 37, while Ashwani made 14. Man of the match Rom Shrestha took two wickets for the BCA.
