Tusal, United triumph

KATHMANDU: Tusal Youth Club came from two-goal down to beat Friends’ Club 3-2 while United Youth Club blanked Boys’ Sports Club 4-0 in Martyrs’ Memorial ‘B’ Division League on Wednesday. Sajesh Shrestha, Kunal Lama and Suraj Gurung scored for Tusal while Niraj Chhetri scored both the goals for Friends. In the second game, Karna Subba struck twice and Kiran Gurung and Binay Maharjan netted one each for United Youth Club. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League champions Manang Marsyangdi Club felicitated their players and officials at a programme on Wednesday. CAN names squad

KATHMANDU: The selection committee of the Cricket Association of Nepal headed by Bijay Kumar Sharma selected the final 13-member squad for the ICC Inter-Continental Cup Challenge match to be held in Namibia from March 23-26. Binod Das is retained the captain, with Shakti Gauchan his deputy. Other members of the squad are Paresh Lohani, Dhirendra Chand, Kanishka Chaugain, Raj Kumar Pradhan, Sarad Vesawkar, Gyenendra Malla, Amir Akhtar, Manoj Katuwal, Raju Basnyat, Mahaboob Alam and Basanta Regmi. Roy Dias is nominated as the coach and Sri Niwas Rana manager. — HNS
