Sarwan to go home

BRIDGETOWN: West Indies vice captain Ramnaresh Sarwan will return home from New Zealand after tearing a muscle in his left thigh. The West Indies Cricket Board on Monday confirmed that Sarwan was injured in the first Test in Auckland. Sarwan will leave on Wednesday while the other members of the team will continue to Wellington for the second Test starting on Friday. During the first Test, Sarwan was struck on the head by a ball from New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond and was forced to leave the field.
