Inter-college cricket
KATHMANDU: National College for Business Studies is organising the Thakur Nath Panta Memorial Inter-college Cricket Tournament from December 20 at TU and Tundikhel grounds. Around 32 colleges of Kathmandu are taking part in the tournament, said tournament convenor Bipin Joshi. He also said that the league-round matches will be played at TU and others at Tundikhel. The winners will receive Rs 25,000, while the runner-up will get Rs 15,000. The four best players — batsman, wicketkeeper, bowler and fielder — will be awarded Rs 4,000 each. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Nepal Medical Coll-ege and Ace Institute of Management played a 1-1 draw in the LACM Inter-college Football Tournament, which has been organised by Student Council of Little Angels’ College of Management. Bibek Ranjitkar scored for NMC, while Swapnil Sharma found the net for Ace. In the other match, Utsab Shrestha scored twice as LACM beat Malpi 3-1. Kheman Hang Limbu also scored for LACM. — HNS
