TIME OUT: Ronaldo sidelined
LISBON: Manchester United’s star winger Cristiano Ronaldo has been sidelined from Portugal’s international football friendly against Egypt on Wednesday because of a sprained ankle. Earlier, Sporting Lisbon midfielder Custodio Castro was dropped from coach Luiz Felipe Scolari’s 18-man line-up for the match because of a right knee injury he suffered during weekend training. Custodio, 22, and fellow Sporting midfielder Joao Moutinho were one of two uncapped players to get the nod from Scolari for the match.
